Proactive Parenting

The Proactive Parenting Support Group is a place for current or prospective adoptive parents and those who provide foster care to encourage one another through community, education, therapeutic support, and common understanding. The group is an “open group” and is facilitated by two adoption competent and attachment psychologists who rotate monthly, and topics vary depending on participants’ needs and requests. A therapist from EVOLVE’s staff is also present and helps connect participants with appropriate ongoing supports and resources. Preregistration is required to attend this support group via Zoom.

Who Should Attend: This group is open to the public.

Cost: Free for current or former EVOLVE, Crossroads, or HOPE clients; $20 for non-clients.
